Yeni/New Header

Her hafta yeni bir header koyacağım dediğimin de, iki haftadır hiç böyle bir aktivitede bulunmadığımın da farkındayım (belki de 3 hafta, bilemedim şimdi). Ama bu kaotik ve acı dolu bir 2 (3) haftaydı benim için. Yeni header (bunun da türkçesini bilmiyorum) Dorothea Lange'in "At the Cotton Wagon, Migrant Agricultural Worker"ı (Eloy, Arizona, 1940). Her ne kadar zaman zaman etik değerlerinin eksikliğinden şikayet etsem de (bkz: The real migrant mother ), yine de fotoğraflarına bayılamdan edemiyorum. İşte hakkında birkaç bilgi:

I know I promise to put a new header every week and it's been two weeks already (or three? I dunno) full of chaos and heart-ache and frustration. The new header is Dorothea Lange's "At the Cotton Wagon, Migrant Agricultural Worker" (Eloy, Arizona, 1940). I may disagree with her ethics from time to time (e.g. my thoughs on the migrant mother ), I still cannot help to admire her work. Here is a little bit about her:

Dorothea Lange (26 Mayıs 1895- 11 Ekim 1965) Amerikalı belgesel fotoğrafçısı ve foto-gazetecisi, en çok Büyük Depresyon yıllarında Farm Security Administration (FSA) için çektiği fotoğraflarla bilinir. Lange'in fotoğraflaro Büyük Depresyonun trajik sonuçlarını insanlaştırmış ve sosyal belgesel fotoğrafçılığının doğmasında büyük etki sağlamıştır.

Dorothea Lange (May 26, 1895 – October 11, 1965) was an influential American documentary photographer and photojournalist, best known for her Depression-era work for the Farm Security Administration (FSA). Lange's photographs humanized the tragic consequences of the Great Depression and profoundly influenced the development of documentary photography.
